WHAT WE DO Home Evaluation A comprehensive inspection of the major components and systems which make up a building. The inspection includes structural aspects, the roof, plumbing and electrical systems, heating/cooling systems, in fact, all of the major features which are readily accessible and visible. A thorough detailed report is prepared for the client, plus a preliminary written summary is provided on site. Foresight is an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI). All of our professional engineers and home inspectors are licensed as required by the State of New Jersey. Septic Certifications Private sewage disposal systems are found in many suburban and country homes where municipal utilities are unavailable. Our standard “open pit” inspection includes an on-site evaluation by trained professionals, including licensed engineers where required by state or local code. We use techniques, including excavation of critical components as required to reveal detailed information about the system and increase the accuracy of the evaluation. These procedures are designed to reveal the operating condition of the system using inspection methods applied by engineers and health department authorities for decades. |
ALSO Wood Destroying Insect Inspection A termite and wood destroying insect inspection of the premises by our technician to determine the presence of termites, carpenter ants, and other damaging insects. The certification satisfies government and lending institution requirements. Radon Testing Foresight’s certified professionals are approved by the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) to provide testing. This requires strict adherence to their standards and frequent evaluation of our methods and results. Foresight was an original charter member of the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists (AARST). Engineering Services Foresight also provides professional engineering services which include structural analysis, design and practical solutions to building problems. |
